Stein Eriksen Lodge

If you haven’t ever tried the Sunday brunch at Stein Eriksen Lodge you are missing out on one of the best Deer Valley restaurant dining experiences.  The brunch is held every Sunday in Stein Eriksen’s Glitretind restaurant which features a warm and elegant rustic décor overlooking the Silver Lake area of Deer Valley Resort.  We almost hesitate to mention that the brunch is a buffet because of the connotation the word buffet may imply.  Rest assured this is like no other buffet you have experienced in the past.

The selection is too large to mention in this article but a sampling of the items include: sliced fruits and seasonal berries, mixed green salad, cesar salad, steamed mussels, oysters, crab legs, sushi rolls, wild game chili, chefs choice soups, eggs benedict with hollandaise, maple brushed apple wood smoked bacon, blueberry pancakes, Belgian waffles, gourmet vegetables, fresh gourmet prepared fish, chef prepared gourmet omelets and chef carving stations of carefully prepared gourmet meats.  The expansive dessert offering includes: freshly prepared berry cobblers, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, vanilla bean crème brûlée, custards, cookies, tarts, chef prepared bananas foster to name just a few.  You should also treat yourself to either the house prepared Bloody Mary which is a work of art or a delicate Mimosa.  Finally, wind down with a gourmet roasted coffee, tea, espresso, or cappuccino.

During the summer the brunch takes place every Sunday from 11:00AM – 2:30PM and reservations are recommended.  Summer pricing is reduced from the regular rate to $32 for adults, $19 for children 5-12, and free for children under 5.  The brunch is consistently rated 5 stars by multiple rating agencies as well as various online user reviews.  If you live in the area or are in town visiting, make sure you treat yourself to Stein’s brunch at least once this summer.  After all, you deserve it don’t you?

I would be very interested in playing the piano for your Sunday brunches.
I have played the piano at the Homestead Resort for the past 3 years for their Sunday Brunch and various Holidays. Because the economy has forced them to discontinue their brunches I am now available to book.
